My goal for collegiate rowing is to be part of a team that is tight knit, supportive and close. Team dynamic is an extremely important part of my college search, and finding a team that's right for me is an extremely important aspect for me. Along with this, I believe I can offer a supportive and hardworking aspect to a team. I believe in the importance of encouraging one another can help make a team stronger. What I love most about the sport of rowing is the sense of community that comes with it, and I want that to be reflected in my collegiate career.
In terms of other athletics and academics, I run on my school's cross country team, and I am heavily involved with the arts. I participate both in my school's spring musical as well as the select choir. I also take 4 AP classes and one honors class. Studies are extremely important to me. They have always been a top priority, and I wish to continue this through college. Being involved in multiple activities and sports has helped me develop character as well as become well rounded as an individual. From these different experiences, I hope I can offer a positive and encouraging attitude to a team.
