Paige Jones '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Paige Jones and I row for Oklahoma City Riversport Women’s Junior Crew. I grew up playing many sports including soccer, basketball, track, cross country, and even kung fu. After doing these sports I realized they weren’t for me. I have just completed my novice year and can say after this amazing first year I have a deep passion for rowing. Rowing has taught me so much as a person. I was named co-captain of the novice team which has made me step up as a leader. I also had to learn new levels of patience in achieving my goals. Mental strength, and that team bonds are what pushes your rowing career further. I have been blessed to be a part of an uplifting and encouraging team of girls and coaches! My team and coaches are the reasons I want to continue rowing in college.
