Ainsley Steele '22 Recruiting Profile

Tenacity.  Leadership. Teamwork. Skill.  Character. Each of these qualities is who I am on and off the water. I am a multi-sport athlete but my focus is rowing at the collegiate level. My goal in collegiate rowing is to be a part of a program that challenges my academics and pushes me as an athlete to become the best rower I can be. 

I am a leader by example both in school and on my teams. I understand that teamwork involves the entire team and not just one or two standouts. I am known for helping others learn and grow in the classroom, through elected student government positions, and on the water; I always do my best to win by always giving 110% in every challenge I am presented with. Finally, I am a person who will make a coach and rowing program proud as my work ethic, leadership skills, and character will not let you down.
