My name is Sofia Lorenzini and I am a hard working, dedicated, and powerful athlete that will always have the drive to be the best. I take my academics very seriously, from honors classes to studying every night I set my standards really high. I have been an athlete since I was born, I've played almost every sport and excelled at each. My endurance from swimming since I was 3 has made rowing a natural sport for me because I was the only one who wasn't wheezing after a 6k. Rowing is a sport that doesn't come easily, but if you work hard and want it badly enough then you can make it and I'll make it. I believe I can compete at a college level because after I did my first 2k I knew that this was the sport for me and making it to college for rowing became an automatic goal. Being a part of a college team would be amazing and I know I will be an asset to the team because of my drive and commitment in everything I do.
