Welcome!

My name is Ella Lee and I am the current V1 coxswain and co captain of The Hill School Boat Club. We are primarily located in Pottstown, PA which is a small town about an hour northwest of Philadelphia, and are a 4+ program. However, because it is a boarding school, my hometown is in Larchmont, New York. With this, I spend my summers coxing at Row America Rye. I am grateful for both the club and scholastic experience, because I believe it provides me with lots of tools to develop in so many ways. I credit boarding school with providing me great time management skills, a disciplined schedule, and the exposure of living away from home as early as 9th grade. I am very involved in The Hill community in various ways through being a prefect, a campus tour guide, a member of the cross country and indoor track teams, etc. I also have many academic passions such as English and Classics, with the hopes of pursuing medicine in the future in some form. I hold myself to a very high standard to be a very adaptable coxswain. I have coxed both boys and girls throughout my athletic career, and am always looking to better my skills. I might not have all the race results or titles, but I truly believe in the power of development and being a coachable athlete, which are values I uphold and cherish.
