Jenna Roberts '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Jenna Roberts

I have been rowing scull on the Dallas Rowing Club juniors team for a little over a year and am interested in coxing on a mens team. Currently, I am in my junior year of high school at New Tech High @ Coppell, a school based on applying what we learn to solve real-world problems and collaborating with others. I chose to attend this school because I thrive in a team environment and apply this passion to working with my rowing team. I obtained a knee injury and am currently easing myself back into the boat, and have been using the time that I cannot row for learning to cox and working as the team manager.

Outside of rowing, I have a job at a retail store that I love. I like experiencing new things and interacting with new people and my job gives me a way to channel that. I also enjoy working on service projects with both my school and church on occasion, usually based on cleaning up the environment or helping other people. I am also the secretary for my church's  youth group and I lead the music on Sundays, music has always been an outlet for me and I often have song I'll row to while in stroke seat.

I am always interested in learning something new and hope to continue my academic, rowing, and social education
