Hello Coaches!
My name is Mia Parrott, and I have been rowing since August 2016. I have enjoyed many of the challenges and rewarding experiences I have endured during these past three years. I take honors and AP classes and thoroughly enjoy the challenges I am presented with in such classes. As a multi-sport student-athlete, I can balance the demands of athletics and academics and have always been active and eager for more competition and growth. I would love to continue this journey in college.
Along with crew I also love to swim, competing for my school's swim team in the winter. Additionally, I am apart of my school's Future Business Leaders of America club.
Being involved in my community has always been important to me, as I am Student Board Member for the Promethean Group, a nonprofit that provides free healthcare to those in need. In addition, I serve as the current Service Chair for GBCC (my rowing program), so I am in charge of volunteer opportunities for my community through my crew team.
