It is my hope to be able to immerse myself in the field of Health Sciences and Nursing while having the opportunity to play the sport I am so passionate about. My education is a critical part of being able to work in a career that excites me and allows me to make a difference in peoples lives. Being able to play soccer through my collegiate career will allow me to find the balance I need to be a successful team member both on and off the field.
One thing that I believe makes me stand out from other recruits in character is my ability to get along with everyone regardless of the situation. I am able to speak my mind with confidence. I am self aware, take feedback openly and apply what I learn. I believe that I am flexible both in attitude and athletic ability allowing me to play any position within the field. In 2019 I was the only freshman and youngest player on the Hoover High School Varsity team, but my athletic ability, understanding of the game and physical stature have allowed me to stand apart from other soccer players. I am also a true '05 but I have played as a starter on the '04 team for my former Hoover Vestavia Club (HVS). I am currently playing for BUSA and was recruited to play ECRL.
Academically I've always been self driven and motivated to succeed. I am participating in the Health Science Academy at my high school and have the opportunity to begin learning about the career path I want to follow. Though there may be others that have a higher GPA than mine, I can assure you that I will always strive to excel in the classroom. It excites me to realize that I will one day have an opportunity to become a member of the health sciences field, whether as an athletic trainer or physical therapist and make an impact in the lives of others.
