Hello My name is Sara Lopez. I am currently a junior attending Hoover High school since 2017 in Birmingham AL. I was born on October 29,2003 in Madrid, Spain. I have played Tennis since I was 7 years old. I have done soccer, swimming and dance, but tennis has always been the sport I look up to the most.
I have had the opportunity to learn the game from many great coaches that have helped me throughout my journey and I would not be where I am today without their amazing support.I began my tennis career in Spain with my coaches in Madrid. I have played varsity all 3 years of high school and hope to play my senior year too.
When I am not playing Tennis I love hanging out with friends, playing basketball, playing ping pong with my brother and traveling. On my free days I like to go hiking and skiing and enjoy my surroundings! I have been traveling and moving my whole life which has pros and cons. Traveling has taught me new and different cultures, environments, and people.
I love working as a team and have always been known as a person who gets along with everyone. My parents have always supported me in tennis and that is one of the reasons I enjoy playing it. In college I am not 100% sure of what career I would like to pursue but I am leaning towards a Business or Information Technology major.
I have always loved being enrolled in a big high school which is why I would like to go to a college with a large amount of people.I considered myself a hardworking achievement oriented team player and I am passionate about using my skills to provide a good team environment!
