Personal Statement
My name is Maia Elkins. I am a Senior, and will be graduating in May 2022. I have played many sports, but Soccer has definitely stolen my heart. My goal is to play in college. I focus on seeing the field more than the ball. I am a strong attacking mid-fielder, and can also play an outside back. Even though I have played for four years, I want to be able to play more for the love of the sport. I have played for summer leagues, and am wanting to try out for the Women's Adult League this spring. I have played in much crazy weather, and even have played in the snow! I plan on focusing on my academic goals, just as hard as my soccer career. I would Love to pursue my love for the sport either with a junior college or even a Division III school.
