Soccer has always been there, its acts as a variable that never changes. Life is constantly moving it is never stationary but soccer has never failed and I have never stopped loving it. I've always had a ball at my feet since I could walk, something about it has repeatedly intrigued me, I believe it is because when on I am the field, my only boundaries are the white spray-painted lines. I'm physically challenged but also mentally, every move must be calculated and every kick perfectly executed. The connection that builds between teammates is powerful, our complete trust is in each other and we must understand each other's mistakes. That is why I think teamwork is one of the pillar components of soccer that I'm always looking to improve.
I go to Campo Verde High School in Gilbert, AZ. Campo's soccer team has a remarkable reputation, and I'm consistently trying to prove my worth but more importantly, when I leave Campo I want to be able to look back and see that I was able to add to their impressive reputation. I am currently on their JV team. Outside of school, I am the captain of an APL team on FC Arizona.
There isn't one place that I thrive in more than another, one of my greatest strengths is the ability to change and react quickly and efficiently. I perform best when I'm challenged, I'm very competitive so the more difficult the objection equals the better result. I am not the loudest on the field and I may not be the most technical but I counterbalance it with speed and non stop hustle.
As a academic student, I value my grades greatly. I am a straight A student in honors and above 1 grade level in science and math. I enjoy school and extracurricualr activities, I am a part of my school's Speech and Debate team as well as their Academic Decathlon Team. Although there is struggle I've been able to balance school, sports, and healing.
When looking at colleges, I look for two things; the support that the school will offer me in my carrer and will I be able to succeed and fully be involved with the school, without any regrets. SInce I was about 9 I've wanted to be the same thing, I want to be a prosecuting lawyer and study politics. The justice system is quite interesting to me and politics is something of a relief, it allows me to hear other and other to hear me. Opinions are everything biases are catalyst to all relatioships, so I believe politics and law have a much greater role in our government then we realize.
Overall I'm ready to find my dream college where I will flourish, play the sport I love and I can make everlasting change for the better. Thank you for getting to know me!
