Playing a sport in college requires many aspects of a player: skills, academics, and sportsmanship. These are the main attributes that I would bring to a team. I have the experience of both playing club and being on a varsity high school team to add to my soccer skills. This would benefit the team as I would be able to compete at a higher level of soccer and bring up the overall skill of the team. I maintain a rigorous school schedule with four AP classes, 2 levels above in regular math (States), taking an AP language class (Mandarin), and having a high GPA- thus meaning the coaches would never have to worry about academic related problems and I would benefit the college I go to. Lastly, connecting with the other players on my team and overall respecting the sport of soccer and its participants is something I strive to do. Soccer is a sport that I love and I will continue to improve upon it so that may benefit any team that I am on.
