Bella Newell '25 Recruiting Profile

My passion for the game of soccer includes every aspect: learning, growth, disappointments, relationships and excitement through the journey. I am a versatile player that can be put anywhere on the field. I have a 94.8% passing accuracy rate and have converted all 19 PKs taken over the past 3 years. I have a high soccer IQ and am able to break lines and work both sides of the ball. 

Playing in the ECNL-RL Southwest Division, my U19 Team 05/06 Arizona Arsenal ranked 3 and competed in Regionals in 2023 and are on track to compete again. Hamilton High School were 6A State Runner Up this year with a 1-1 draw after 2 overtimes and ending in PKs 4-5. In addition, I captained my DPL team at Phoenix Premier FC and won Arizona State Championship in 2022. 

I thrive in an environment where I can use my voice to tactically help our team and individual teammates during the game and adjustments at half. Working through ideas and scenarios in practice that translate to games. I have been blessed to have coaches teach me all aspects of the game and continue to learn by watching professional soccer, primarily in the Premier League and Champions League. 

Throughout my career I have also taken pride in balancing practice, games, recovery and my honors classes. I will continue to pursue these off field achievements while completing a degree in kinesiology. My current GPA is 4.3.
