Callyn Crandall '21 Recruiting Profile

I believe what makes me stand out from other athletes is my work ethic. I hold myself to a very high standard as an athlete, student, mentor, daughter, and friend. I push myself to be the best in every aspect of my life. Whether it be waking up early to beat the Arizona heat and run 6 or 7 miles, or on the other end staying up late to finish homework after soccer practice and church events, I always am willing to do what it takes to improve. Throughout my high school years, I have gone through some trials and setbacks that taught me the importance of work ethic. Navigating pain and struggles helped me experience and understand perseverance first-hand. All this has given me an immense amount of confidence in my mental and physical strength. This confidence is central to my game as a defender and evident every time I step on the field. I pride myself in being well organized in the back, great at communicating, accurate with distribution, and calm and collected for all 90 minutes.  This all translates off the field as well. I am always organized with my busy schedule and honors classes, I am great at listening and leading others at my church, home, & school,  and I always have a sense of calm and collection that comes from my faith. I hope to find the perfect school fit to be my home for the next 4 years and the perfect soccer program to be my family for the next 4 years. Give me an email or call anytime to talk more!
