Soccer has been an integral part of my life since the age of 7. I have a passion for a high level of competition and there is not a better feeling in the world than coming off the field after winning a big game! The game has taught me so many lessons on so many different levels. Soccer has blessed me with the most amazing friendships and has given me the opportunity to travel across the United States. It has taught me that life is not always fair as we lost games we shouldn't have and won games we shouldn't have. Soccer has taught me the true meaning of "team" and has shown me what it feels like to "dig deep" and "comeback". Soccer has pushed me to be the best I can be each and every time I get on the field. Perhaps the biggest lesson soccer has taught me is adversity. I tore my ACL and being away from the game was so difficult for me. I have had to put every ounce of desire, hard work and my never give up attitude into getting back on the field. There is nothing that I want more than to play college soccer and compete at the highest level possible. The burning desire is indescribable and I know this lesson in adversity has only made me physically and mentally stronger. I look forward to a great college career.
