Odessa Barattieri '24 Recruiting Profile

I began playing soccer at 5 years old and never stopped loving it. I have had many recruitment opportunities, but I am looking for the perfect fit. My drive, exceptionalism, experience, and athletic ability will be a huge asset to any team I choose to join.  

I want soccer to be my focus because it is not only good for me physically, but it also brings me joy and a healthy mind. I love to win and want to lead a determined, hardworking team to success. I have an extremely strong work ethic and I am very disciplined, as is evident by my high GPA and my success at playing at the highest level of soccer available wherever I go. 

I have always been willing to put in the work outside of practice, like going to the field on non-training days, lifting and conditioning at the gym, staying at the field longer after practice to get more touches in, or watching film. I want to be part of team that is willing to work as hard as it takes and achieve success. 

I am very coachable, according to my many coaches, and I appreciate being told what I can do to grow as a player and individual. There is always something I can do to get better, and I constantly want to be improving on and off the field. I am hardworking academically, with a current 4.17 GPA and have maintained a GPA above a 4.0 throughout all my years of high school. I like to be challenged academically and want to find a school that can not only fit my academic goals but help me achieve my dream of playing collegiate soccer.
