Hello Coaches, my name is Genevieve Murdocco and I have been playing Club soccer since I was 4 years old. I currently play for Coquitlam Metro Ford Soccer Club - BC Soccer Premier League as attacking mid and sometimes outside mid or forward. I helped my team win the Provincial Championships last year (2023) and come third in the Canadian National Championships (2023).
I am looking for a University that has a good academic reputation in Engineering/Sciences and in where I can contribute to the Women's Soccer Team competitively.
Other coaches and experienced players have mentioned the following strengths that are unique to me: I have a very keen vision of the field and recognize plays that sometimes others don’t notice. I control the game by knowing where I want to place the ball before I even receive it rather than reacting. Also I have strategic judgement on when to take the shot and when to pass it to my teammates for the shot. I make choices that are best for the game versus personal glory. My skills as a player complement others' strengths making the team stronger overall.
