My name is Jasleen Grewal and I am a 2025 graduate. I currently attend Independence High School in Bakersfield, California. I started playing soccer when I was four years old, and have enjoyed every moment of it since then. My goals in soccer are to become a professional college athlete, but also to become a better person as well. I aspire to play soccer like my father. Growing up my dad didn't have the luxury that he gives to us, so I aspire to make his dreams a reality but in me. Being an athlete and a student with various extra-curriculars, makes me a different athlete because I learn to have better time management. I learn to make time for soccer, my academics, my friends, my extra-curriculars, my family, and myself. I am an athlete who likes to put myself out there, and I always like to be busy. I love volunteering in hospitals, and I love doing dual-enrollment in college. As an athlete, I work on my own extra time to improve my individual ability and soccer IQ.
