Hi coaches,
My name is Makenna Stott. I will be graduating in 2028. I started playing soccer when I was 7 years old because my best friend was playing. After playing soccer for just a couple of weeks I grew to love this game. I can play multiple positions and my left foot is just as strong as my right foot. I learned that my true calling was to play defensive midfielder. I enjoy being a defensive midfielder because I feel that it truly gives me the ability to showcase all my strengths. Playing the Defensive Midfielder has allowed me to use my leadership abilities, lets me be a part of the offensive and defensive game plans, and allows me to use my skill sets to circulate the ball to both sides of the field. Throughout my soccer journey I have learned that I am a very competitive player, and this continues to push me to prove that I am going to be a division 1 soccer player. I will work very hard to make sure that I am ready for whatever challenges come my way. On my club team I have always been a team captain and I love being able to be a leader on my team and help whenever I can. I have also been a part of the Girls Academy advisory panel as a team rep for the past two years. My academic goals for myself is to major in communications and become a sports broadcaster. I have always made sure in school to keep a 4.0 GPA. If I got the opportunity to get a scholarship to play soccer it would be a dream come true.
