Hello. Let me start by thanking you for taking the time to get to know me. I enjoy life and do what I can to make the most of it. I love working and volunteering at local animal shelters, spending time giving back to my community and most importantly trying to leave every place I go a little better than it was when I arrived.
I have always been competitive and sports have been a way for me to be my best self. A love for running has filled my mind ever since I can remember. Competing over the years at local, state, and national levels for track and field. Today, I not only do track and field but I also made my Varsity Cross Country team as a Freshman. When I was young I competed against the boys in Jui-Jitsu, this made me tough. It strengthened me and taught me what it means to have a fighting spirit. Then there is soccer! Soccer has always been special to me because it allows me to compete with a group of girls I really care about- as we strive together towards a common goal. Individual sports are great, and I get more control over the outcome, but team sports have taught me about more than competition, it's taught me about sacrifice.
I spend countless hours training and much of my spare time goes to volunteering and serving but investing in my education is priority. I like a good challenge so I take courses that will push me...honors and AP classes if possible. For some school is simply about getting good grades, for me, it's about learning who I am... what I am good at... what I like... who I want to become. I see education as an exploration for life.
I love many things in life but I love God the most. My faith is what keeps me grounded and gives me the courage to try new things. It gives me purpose and shows me the value of sacrifice. Most of all, my faith teaches me to be Christlike... Everyday I do my best to spread kindness wherever I go and love others unconditionally. It's not just something I believe in but what I live for.
