I’ve been playing since i was 4 years old and the soccer field became like my second home. My parents put me into many sports as a child and soccer was the one I found a strong passion for. I loved playing soccer, watching soccer, and even just being at the soccer field every Saturday. As a little girl i always has the cliché dream to be the next Mia Hamm.
I have learned many things about myself as well as developed good traits while playing soccer. I have learned that i am very dedicated and committed. I hate having the feeling of letting my team down when having to miss a practice or game and work hard to make sure that doesn’t happen. I have also learned that I am a great leader. I like to show by example and direct people in a way that’s not harsh yet still demanding. Encouraging other while they’re down is something i also take pride in.
I have always had high academic goals for myself. Since 5th grade I’ve never wanted anything less than an A and have always strived for a 4.0. In the future, I would like to further my education into something i’m very passionate about such as agriculture.
I have been told by a few coaches that I’m a “different type of player”. They explain that I see the game in a different way and have an excellent vision of the field. I am also an excellent passer. I have also been told i’m the “playmaker” and may not have the stats that show goals but I’ll be the one either with the assist or played the ball that made the play happen.
