I know for a fact that I don't stand out as the best academic or athletic student among the rest, but what I can say for sure is that my character and work ethic makes up for it. I work hard to get what I earn and make sure to prove that I'm capable of doing my job. Each day for me is a new learning experience. I'm very open to learn new things, improve, and further my progress. Whether that be on the field or at school, I want to be a better version than I was yesterday.
I first started playing soccer when I was about six years old. I tried other activities such as dance and gymnastics, but they weren't very fitting for me. However, the idea of trying out for soccer was brought up . From that moment on, I continued to play recreational soccer from 2nd grade until the near end of my 7th grade year when I first started to play comp. soccer for Alliance. Fast forward to me now, I've been playing comp. soccer for about 4-5 years now,I'm currently play for F.C. Diablos, and I'm proud to say it's one of the best decisions I've made.
Although I met a lot of wonderful and talented people who help shaped me into the student athlete I am today, I did have to go through a few obstacles to get here. I went back and forth between clubs because I wasn't able to find the team that was right for me. Sometimes it would be the coaches that would put me on bench for half of our games. But other times it would be my own teammates against me, which didn't help my confidence and caused me to play worse on the field. Thankfully enough, I had a few players on the team that would support me and give me advice or tips on how to improve my footwork and I'm still very grateful for their support to this day.
I hope to have a 3.4 GPA or better for high school and I hope to go straight into a 4 year college so I can get a bachelors degree in Art. I wouldn't mind going to a junior college first since it would work better with my family's financial situation for college. I'm debating on whether I'd like to be a graphic designer or an illustrator once I complete college, but I just know I want to be in a profession that has a strong focus on art.I would say my number one supporters for my success are my family and my close friends. My dad gets really involved in both my schoolwork and soccer and does his best to help get me to be the best player that I can be.
