Sofia Bacsafra '23 Recruiting Profile

I fell in love with the game of soccer at four years old and have been playing ever since. I primarily play center back; however, I rotate as an outside back, too. I began my soccer career as an outside forward. Over the years, I have played as a center midfielder and a striker. I am left footed but I consistently use both feet. I have been playing at the ECNL level for five years. I am known to be a coachable and consistent player. My goal is to be an elite college athlete. I have enjoyed participating in the ECNL National Playoffs as well as the ECNL showcases over the last five years. I love being around sports which is why I want to go into business with an emphasis in sports management.  I am confident in my academic abilities and I am also bilingual and biliterate in Spanish. I am very passionate about soccer, and I am looking forward to seeing where it takes me! Unfortunately I tore my ACL in February 2022, but I will be returning to play in spring 2023!
