Ashley Galvan '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Ashley Galvan, I am currently a 2022 graduate at Saint Mary’s Academy in Los Angeles.  I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old. My goal for college is to discover a great college that fits in with my personal and academic needs, as I want to major in the field of Biology and eventually go into the profession of dentistry but of course have the opportunity to play in a competitive team.  I have acquired great technique, game intelligence, physical fitness, and the proper mindset. These characteristics have allowed me to understand and play various positions on the field. I have played the 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10, I believe that my game knowledge and ability to play various positions on the field differs me from many other recruits. 

I have challenged myself to take on other responsibilities out of school. I was given the opportunity to intern for Yeidy’s Photography company, tutor children, and currently became an assistant coach at Autobhan Academy for a 2016 youth group. I was honored to be part of these activities because it has brought me different experiences to become more patient, become a role-model, and be more socially active.
