2018 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Winning the 2018 ECNL National Championship has been the highlight of my soccer career so far and I’ve enjoyed continuing to play soccer at an elite level. Playing soccer at an elite level brings a vast amount of stress and pressure. However, every time I step onto the field and with every single touch on the ball, all the stress floats away and the pressure relinquishes. I love every single aspect of this game: the sister-like friendships, making connections with your coaches, traveling for games, the feeling when completing a successful play or out-battling your opponent, the feeling when your team scores and when you win a game. The game brings me great happiness, it defines me. I express myself through playing it. Every time I wear my team uniform, I feel strong, confident, and ready to take on the world. I want to continue to experience the joy of the game throughout college and hopefully even longer.
