In this essay, I’m introducing myself and sharing my college aspirations. I think I’d be a great fit for your program, not just because of my athletic ability but because of my personality and academic accomplishments that make me stand out from other incoming students. First of all, my top priority at this point in my college career is to not only do well on the field but to do well in the classroom as well. I strongly believe in the value of a balanced education and I love having the chance to combine my love of academics with my love of sports. As a committed student athlete, I work hard to maintain a good GPA while giving 100% effort in practice and games. I believe my academic focus will make me a great addition to your team because I know how to manage my time and make sure that my focus on both sports and academics never gets in the way.
