Piper Hansen '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Piper Hansen. Soccer has been a consistent part of my life since the first grade, and playing while in college would be the next step to keeping soccer in my life. 

I played soccer in a rec league from the age of 6 untill I aged-out at 13 years old. I started playing for Los Gatos United the following season. I was moved up to the first team for the fall 2023 season. I currenlty play on the 07GI team (NPL and GA). I played again for my high school JV team this year, where we finished the seaon undefeated for the second year in a row. I also was invited to play for the Varsity team during the CCS playoffs.  

I currenlty play attacking center mid (8 or 10), but I’m versitile on the field and I also play in the right and left back (2 or 3) and center forward (9) positions. 

I’m committed on and off the field — I study hard and work hard in the classroom and have maintained a 4.0 GPA since the sixth grade. I’m involved at my school with the Environmental Outreach and the Help Humanity clubs. I volunteer at local food banks, food kitchens, and a local Rotary Club. I also volunteered my time this spring to help with the local middle school boy’s JV soccer team. I also have a job this summer — helping run soccer camps for little kids for my club. 

I hope to attend a college where I can continue playing the sport I love, supported by great teachers and coaches.
