My name is Lauren Schwartz and my soccer journey begun when I was 4 years old and ever since, I have found a love and passion for the sport. Over the years, I have learned how to be a good team player who is willing to sacrifice anything to help my team gain success. I primarily play outside wing, however, I have good experience in all attacking positions. I am proficient with both my left and right foot allowing me to play on either side of the pitch.
I have learned that a good relationship with failure is one of the most important things as a soccer player. I now know that it is not truly failure unless you don’t learn from it and work on what you struggle with. I am very persistent and will not give up until I get my desires results. I have an unweighted GPA of 4.11 and a weighted GPA of 4.13. I am currently in AP and dual enrollment classes to help further increase my GPA.
My future plans include going to college then to Medical School in hopes of becoming a Dermatologist. I’ve always wanted to go into the medical field and decided I wanted to go into dermatology after being inspired by Dr. Pimple Popper (Dr. Lee). I saw how her procedures positively affected people and I want to be a part of that.
Now at age 17, I am playing at the ECNL regional league level as well as playing high school soccer. My sophomore year was my first year of Varsity Soccer, where I was one of four sophomores to make our 29 person roster, and started every game. I am now about to start my 3rd year of Varsity Soccer.
I am very passionate about soccer and playing in college. I can’t remember what my life was like before soccer and it is something I couldn't imagine life without it. I am always willing to improve upon all aspects of myself as a player and overall person. Thank you Coach for taking the time to read this and I look forward to meeting you and learning more about your school and program.
