Sara Hernandez '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Sara Hernandez. I migrated to the US 7 years ago from El Salvador.  I'm very committed to my academic and soccer career. I play soccer for Renegades FC and Marshall Fundamental. My dream is to play pro level some day. I'm a good candidate for your team because I'm committed and I always work hard to accomplish my goals. I might not be the best in the room but I'm for sure the hardest worker! My freshman year at my school I was captain for the JV team, then I was moved up to Varsity, I won the MVP trophy, and I was voted by the coaches and staff as the "Young Female Athlete of the Year" that same year. I encourage my teammates to their limits and always kept them on track when the game might not be at our favor.  Once my high school came to end I was offered a scholarship to play for a soccer club.  Which I was part of for a year before it dissolved due to the pandemic.  Lastly my sophomore year I was part of the Varsity Team.  On the other hand academically I'm very dedicated to my grades. I always strive for B's but mostly A's.
