I started playing soccer when I was five years old. Over the years, I learned that I have a love for the game. I am passionate about playing. I envision myself stepping onto the field the first day on a college team and will feel a sense of accomplishment
When I was little my teachers always told me to sit down. My mom calls me a Mover and Shaker. When I started playing club soccer I told my parents I wanted to play football too but they said,” No!” and they let me play lacrosse instead. In line while registering I told my dad I wanted to play on the boys’ team. I went to tryouts and played for three years.
When I play soccer I will do anything to get to the ball. I am strong, stuck in, and aggressive. I am flexible and can play all around the field with a coachable mindset. I am in good shape, and I like to connect passes and be smart with the ball.
I strive to do my best academically and put all my effort into my work. I want to find a college who can continue to challenge me and expand my knowledge.
I also enjoy volunteer coaching for young children and showing them how to play soccer. On my free time I like to ref young children also, and it has helped me learn more about the game. Both coaching and refereeing has given me the chance to see the game in a different perspective.
I will work hard to achieve my goals.
