Grace Forney '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello College Coaches, 

My name is Grace Forney.  I am in the class of 2025 at Petaluma High School in California and I am an outside back.  I found the game of soccer at age 8 and never looked back. Soccer is integrated into my everyday life. Whether its watching, playing, training, or studying the game, I am all in on soccer.  My freshman year of high school soccer,  I received the MVP award voted on by my teammates.  My coach sated "I did not know what I had on the team until Grace stepped on the field for a game." That is the thing about me.  Game time is my strength and where I excel. My strengths include; finding open teammates to pass to, playing through balls, over 20 yard throw-ins, dribbling through defenses, and game knowledge. I spend countless hours studying the game of soccer and I feel that has helped sets me apart from the rest. As an outside back,  I travel up  and down the field at a fast rate. I find myself in both boxes attacking and defending. I have a passion for soccer and lead by example. I am often the first to get to the field and the last to leave. I work hard in everything I do and execute effort to get the win. I play 110% in every situation I am in.  I encourage my teammates and work hard to bring the team together.
