Hi my name is Alyssa I attend Whitney high school. I’ve been playing soccer since I was six. I’ve been playing for my high school for three years, 2019-2020 I was a captain. One of my goals has always been wanting to play for my school. Soccer has never come easy to me I have never been the type of player that can see a technique performed by the coach then do it perfectly on the first try but this had made me work harder and realize that I love the game of soccer. This has pushed me to want to be the best on the field making me realize my goals of playing soccer in college. Pushing myself trying to reach these goals it has taught me that soccer is more than just something that I want to do in high school and carry through college but something that has helped me become a better athlete and person. This sport has made me into a well-rounded student-athlete. It has helped me enjoy my high school experience a lot more than I would have without it. As a student, I have an average of 3.25 GPA. My love for this sport has allowed me to keep this grade point average by being a student-athlete because it not only makes me work hard on the field but off it as well.
