Being part of a team has been an important part of both my physical and mental health. It has helped me deepen friendships and challenge myself. At the collegiate level, I hope to continue to be part of a team family that will support me in developing friendships, supporting and encouraging each other in pursuing both a common athletic goal, but also to stay focused on our academic goals as well. Being a leader that does not always necessarily have to have the title of "captain" has taught me that every member of the team makes a difference and can impact the team on and off of the field.
