Samantha Wong '21 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer for about 8 years. I have been on 4 different club teams (F.C. Golden State, Slammers FC and Strikers FC). My goals are just to make it to the collegiate level because being able to play at that level is a great honor. What makes me a good candidate for your team is that I get along, I'm always open to trying new things like positions and skills, I like to help out my teammates if I see something that they can improve on, etc. What makes me different in character is that sometimes I can be very quiet because I get shy but when needed, I tend to speak up on improvements. In athletics, I am always pushing my teammates to keep going; I am not labeled as captain but when needed, I will step up. In academics, I try my best in classes to get a passing grade and I go to a lot of tutoring.
