Playing at the collegiate level is important to me because it has always been a dream of mine. As a young child, I looked up to collegiate players as much as I looked up to Olympic and National Team players. This was because in my eyes they achieved the same level of staus and worked hard to get where they are. And now as I step into this world of academics and athletics, many doors are opening for me and I can't wait to find the best fit for me to learn and play sports.
I would make a big impact on any campus where I believe that I could make significant contributions as a student-athlete. Coaches have described me as hardworking, coachable, smart, a great teammate, supportive, positive and always looking to improve in some way, shape, or form.
My parents always stressed a few things while I was growing up. One is to know the 'right thing' and do the 'right thing' another is that when competing it is a team that wins games, not players. This philosophy has created a positive outlook on life and a positive work ethic. I want to be held to high expectations because that is where I perform best. And I have many assets as a soccer player. I am both left and right-footed, and I have better than average pace.
In college, I'm looking for a good fit for me but also for my family. A place where I can be true to myself while reaching my academic, athletic and life goals.
