Personal Statement

I've been playing soccer since I was about 4 years old and I could never imagine my life without it. I think it has definitely shaped my work ethic and personality in ways that have helped through other aspects of life. I appreciate being able to play the game at a high level and hope to continue that opportunity through college. My hope is to play professionally in the NWSL or overseas and I am willing to put in effort and time to be able to do that. I love to push myself and be the best I can athletically, academically, and as a person.  I am fortunate to be able to enjoy the way the game of soccer brings anyone from anywhere together to play. Since beginning competitive/ travel soccer at Union FC 4 years ago to Sacramento United and now Davis Legacy, I have learned to appreciate every opportunity that comes my way and everyone I work with. Going through the International Baccalaureate program in elementary and middle has taught me how to push through any challenges academically and athletically.

My high school soccer team is not highly recognized or incredibly successful but I am beyond excited and honored to work with coaches and players that dedicate themselves to the game. Being selected to the varsity team, as a starter, and playing the full game was a goal of mine that I put in a lot of work effort towards which thankfully happened.  Despite the small program, I am thankful to be surrounded by amazing and dedicated people and create my own soccer family over these next 4 years.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
