I began playing soccer at the age of 8. At that age, I felt the love and passion for my sport. I was surrounded by soccer my whole life where it has just become a part of me and my daily life. By playing soccer I learned how I am capable of being a leader and helper. Throughout the years that I have been playing soccer I have had the chance to be captain for an outside team and also the Varsity team at Luther Burbank High School. I was fortunate enough to have been able to play on the Varsity team since my freshman year. By playing in the school's soccer team I learned how to manage my time since I am a full IB Candidate. By being a full IB Candidate it then indicates that I have to take more time on homework, projects, classwork, etc. than others. Moreover, I contain my GPA above a 4.0 and keep excelling.
