Hello my name is Cadence Walters. I am a junior at Rancho San Juan High School in Salinas, California.
Soccer has been my main sport since 2011. I started playing on a travel team in 2015. I currently play for the Monterey Surf 05 team. My main position is left wing; however, I am versed at playing right wing and attacking midfielder as needed by the team.
My soccer accomplishments include winning the SuperCupNI and making history as the first ever women's team to win the tournament with the Surf Select National team, July 2022. My past accomplishments have been making the Nor-Cal Surf Select 2019-2020 team and playing with the Surf Select National team in the San Diego Surf Cup 2021.
My hobbies include playing volleyball. I am the starting varsity outside hitter where I have set a school record in number of hits scored in a set. I also volunteer with the media team at my church when I have no soccer games.
I want to get into college to pursue my passion in the medical field. My dream since I can remember is becoming a pediatrician to help and support the health and wellness of children.
