Hi my name is Ezmeralda Alvarado, I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old. I was recruited to the competitive level at the age of eight. Learning the importance of community and gaining my own fearless confidence lead me to becoming a fulltime goal keeper at the age of 10. I take the role of Keeper very seriously, so I go to the gym and wrestle to keep conditioned. I train almost 5 days a week with my three teams (2008/2009/2010). I also attended specified GK training. I am the current San Francisco University High School Varsity starting goalkeeper. I am ready for this new experience with my school team.
I am still exploring college paths in regards to what I would like to accomplish in the future but, soccer is a huge part of my life and I hope to be able to help advocate for female athletes from pros to youth sports.
