Marli Galdamez '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old and I've always wanted to play in a team, I started playing in a team when I was 8 years old and ever since I stepped on the field I had such a passionate feeling that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life and my goal is to play in a very high level soccer. My dream is to play in the USWNT, 

I'm very technical and intelligent both with and without the ball, as well as very fast and quick with it. I also never give up, even though I'm losing a game. When the timing is right, I'm good at maintaining possession and attacking. I am a faithful and respectful person. What qualifies me as a successful candidate is that I am a strong leader who assists my teammates when they are down. You wouldn't find any other recruit like me.

In the classroom I try to maintain a very high GPA, I have been invited to ODP and made the team as an alternate but the next year I made the official team and won the championships

I want to attend a highly competitive university, especially one with a strong soccer program, because I want to dedicate myself to being the person I want to be and make my dreams come true. I want to be able to make my parents, as well as myself and my peers, proud.
