Madison Young '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Madison Young, and I am a senior at Arvada West High School. I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old, and through trying other sports growing up, I realized soccer was my favorite. I love challenging myself every time I am on the field, and I am proud of the person that soccer has helped me become.

While playing for both club and high school teams, I have learned resilience and have worked hard to progress my skills and leadership abilities. After playing competitively for Real Edge for 5 years, I switched to Colorado Rapids North, to continue to challenge myself to grow. I improved tremendously as a player, as well as a teammate, while playing with this new team.

I enjoy leading my team and helping to create a positive environment, which has allowed me to be named captain for my high school team this Spring season!

My goal for the future is to continue playing soccer in college, while I discover my interests academically. I am excited to see what this season brings, and I will continue striving to get better.
