Molly Schellpeper '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Molly Eva Schellpeper. I am a 2025 defensive midfielder and was born and raised in Colorado. I've been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. I also played flag football and softball but felt that soccer has always been my calling because of the intense and technical style of play. I pride myself on my leadership capabilities on and off the field, whether I am leading my team or helping out in my community, a sense of family is very important to me. I also hold my academics in very high regard, taking a multitude of challenging honors courses to prepare myself for the difficulty of college. 

My sophomore year was the first year for girls high school flag football in Colorado, which I participated in. That year we went undefeated till the final state championship game; that devastated the team. In 2023 we battled to the end and won the girls flag football state championship after another undefeated season. This left us with a two year record of 41-1. Athletics has taught me much throughout my life and has been a key component in making me who I am today. It has taught me things like commitment, perseverance, discipline and perspective. All of these things put together is what's shaping me into the person I will become both in college and beyond into the rest of my life.
