I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old and my love for the sport has only grown. I have had to push myself to reach where I am now and will continue pushing myself to play at the college level. On the pitch, I always give my best effort and encourage others to do the same. Being selected as Team Captain for the past 2 years, I know that as a team, we only succeed if we are pushing each other to be our best. My coaches have called me a very versatile and coachable player that asks for criticism to improve my game and learn from my mistakes.
Academically I maintain a 4.0 unweighted and 4.79 weighted GPA taking all advanced classes and striving for the IB diploma. I am actively involved in the school community at Fairview High School by involving myself in the Knight Crew leadership committee, and other clubs. I want to be able to attend a college where I am not only athletically challenged but also academically challenged inorder to do the best I can.
In addition to soccer, I am a competitive swimmer. Swimming in a summer league as well as for the High School team. I am a certified lifeguard and have worked this summer at a local pool while still juggling training and travel for soccer. I also work with local youth in my community to learn and love the game of soccer as I have.
