Katerina Heyn '23 Recruiting Profile

I am someone who strives to excel both on the pitch and in the classroom.  I have only been playing competitive soccer for the past two years (my family lived abroad for four years, so I got a late start), but during that time I have worked very hard to become a good goalkeeper.  My coaches have told me that I am a very hard worker and am very coachable, both of which have contributed to my improvement.  While sometimes I am not the most vocal person off the field, I am a leader for my team and make sure that no one works harder than I do on the pitch, in the gym, or in the classroom.  I am an excellent student, currently having a 3.94 GPA in Honors classes, and am in my high school's International Baccalaureate program.  I have a strong interest in biology and other STEM fields. I am searching for a school where I can earn the opportunity to excel athletically and academically and prepare to serve my community in the future.
