Ashley McDonald '22 Recruiting Profile

Hey! I'm Ashley McDonald a 5 ft 10 in, Center back that also plays defensive wingback.  I play for Colorado REAL 04 Olympico and I attend George Washington High School, a senior in the 2022 class.  At George Washington, I play as a starter on Varsity and recently have become team captain. Being a team captain takes a big leadership role that I was more than happy to step into.  With this, I was leading drills in practices, warm-ups, and games. On top of my athletics, I have also been in the IB program, going into my second year, this year. Being a student-athlete takes lots of organization, time, accountability, and responsibility, so I find other things to reward myself with, or use as a motivator, likes naps.. lots of them. I also love to collect plants, I have 9 and counting at the moment, and I recently started to volunteer at a puppy shelter, but napping will still be my favorite thing. :)
