I’ve been playing soccer at the club level for as long as I can remember. This sport has always been my form of fun outside of the classroom setting and friendships within. I lived in Davie, Florida up until the year 2015 and I think that’s when it reached the peak of fun for me. I moved to Colorado thereafter and started my 7th grade academic school year. It was tough adapting to the playing in the winter weather as well as the elevation and making new friends but what kept me going was my love for the sport. I know these challenges only made me a stronger individual and player.
For so long I thought soccer was only fun because I had friends on the team. When personal relationships were taken out of the equation, I realized soccer was still the same amount of fun and pushed me harder to prove my worth on the field as a player. Earning the respect and friendships from my teammates and coaches. I realized my passion to play along with the 12 years I’ve dedicated to the sport could not go to waste. Now more than ever I am looking to become part of a new team that I can bond with and that the coaches and teammates will push me to my highest potential in soccer.
