I have played soccer my entire life, and with every new season my love for the game grows stronger. Soccer has played such a vital role in my life that when I am unable to play it feels as though a part of me has been stripped away. As my knowlege of the game has matured, my skills and dicipline have also matured thanks to some amazing coaches and a positive, "no quit" attitude. I would love to continue this progression at the collegiate level with hopes that it will enable me to get a degree in nursing which will help my long term goal of becoming a doctor of physical therapy.
Academically I have an unweighted GPA that puts me in the top 20 (out of approximately 290 students) for my class at Palmer Ridge High School. With the desire to be sucessful in all that I do, I bring the same work ethic that I have on the soccer field into the clasroom. I personally put a high value on character and strive to allow my personal character to define me no matter what happens on the field or in the classroom no matter the outcome. I believe this has allowed me to become a better leader, teammate, and peer. I have recieved Offensive MVP and overal MVP awards and been voted team captain by my teammates.
