Since I first stepped on the field in a YMCA league at 3 years old, soccer had my interest. From that point on, I could not get enough which still holds true today. I started out playing in Nebraska for a local club team and when I moved to Connecticut continued playing for travel and club teams until I was able to tryout for the ECNL league through CFC.
My soccer goals were identified early on, I wanted to play in a high level college program. Not only to play and learn, but to take soccer as far as I could whether it be playing professionally or to be coaching others about the sport I love. You see, soccer is more than a sport to me, it's a way of life. I use it as an outlet from everyday stresses as well as exercise. Soccer has taught me about teamwork, goal-setting, prioritizing, balancing a full schedule, how to be a leader, how to be analytical and strategic. Not to mention, how to evaluate risk and confront adversity. These are all valuable lessons that have helped shaped me into the person I am today, making me a valuable member to any roster.
I am competitive in the classroom as well as on the pitch. I don't settle and I'm willing to put in the work and effort to prove it. I am a three sport athlete in high school while I maintain a full ECNL schedule. I play soccer in the fall, indoor track in the winter and outdoor track in the spring while maintaining honor roll. It's important for me to be in the best physical shape for soccer, and I find that the track workout compliments the sport. I also like to give back and train younger soccer players about the sport within my community. It's important to me to build a solid soccer program at my school for years to come, not just while I am here.
When it comes to soccer, I'm all in. As a potential recruit, it's important that you know that about me. I put 100% into a program and will do what it takes to get the job done.
