Soccer has always been my passion. When I am on the field, I am filled with a joy that cannot be described. Even though soccer has always been a large part of my life, school comes first. I am a sophomore in high school, and I want to study want to become a physical therapist. In addition to being in honors classes and consistently making honor roll, I participate in a number of school clubs, including Book Club, Spanish Club, and Student Council. I believe my strengths are my determination, hard work, and friendliness. My coaches frequently compliment me for my consistency, aggressiveness, and positive attitude on the field. I am also lucky to have a very strong, close-knit relationship with my family which includes my parents and younger sister. Besides my love for soccer, I also have a love for reading. I have always loved reading. Occasionally, I will choose to read instead of hanging out with my friends. Recently, I have been inspired and moved by The Sun Does Shine by Anthony Ray Hinton. It has changed the way I look at the world and reminded me to continually appreciate what I have.
