As the youngest of an athletic family, I was exposed to many sports over the years, and, according to my family was "always in motion" earning me the nickname "Zippy." My parents believed in allowing us to find our passions and mine has obviously become soccer! However, while I love soccer, I also love simply being a part of a team regardless of the sport... basketball, track, etc! I enjoy developing myself under leaders and then mentoring younger players and eventually becoming a leader myself. I put energy into not only
"earning my role on the field" but as importantly, earning my relationships off the field. For fun, I love to travel with my family and see different parts of the world. I am an extremely hard worker (you do not have a choice when you train year-round and play two club sports, while keeping up the grades-smile!). I thrive within disciplined, competitive systems and while I am not afraid to lead when it makes sense, I do not need to be the star...I just need to know I made a positive difference. I also have excellent references from my coaches that are not only skills based (for which I am proud) but also speak to my character, fierce on-field play and work ethic.... however, the ones I am most proud of speak of me as a teammate. I would love to get to know you...or send you some of my video clips! Thanks for reading! Abby
